The following post is a brief summary of the nutritional and paramedical properties of some fruits. The list is short – do not contain all the fruits of the world – and does not contain all the possibilities of the listed fruits.
Also, note that I use the phrase “helps fight xxx” or “cures yyy” – it’s a shorthand, as the cure can only pharmaceutical drug (medication), not supplements or fruit salad. However, properly formulated diet can help in faster recovery of health, can prevent getting sick at some of the disease or stop their growth.
Remember, too, that if you take medications, you should consult a diet with your doctor. For example – grapefruit can be deadly in combination with certain medications (a list can be found on the Internet; in brochures of many drugs, there is also information if the drug contains substances badly combining with grapefruit).
