I hope that yesterday’s Fat Tuesday passed you quietly and without overeating. Because tomorrow Valentine’s Day is another opportunity to indulge yourself with good food.
Menu is ready for weeks, I know, but maybe I can drop an idea for something exceptionally good. And simple. 🙂
Strawberries in dark chocolate.
Same strawberries are a natural aphrodisiac. Juicy, with a sweet and sour taste – emphasize the taste and smell of champagne; they have tempting color and shape. They have a great impact on the ability to exercise the body and increase the level of libido. Help burn fat, prevent fatigue, improve immunity, and even protect against cancer and help in the formation of red blood cells.
These small wonders of nature contain selenium, zinc (which, among others, is responsible for the production of testosterone), vitamins C, A, D, E, PP and B vitamins, which regulate the activity of the gonads, synthesizing hormones and neurotransmitters responsible for sexual sensations. Do not forget about antioxidants that improve blood circulation and thus prevent problems with erection and increase sensations.
A dark chocolate for that?
Bitter taste of chocolate is acquired taste. Sensational is a chocolate containing 90-95% cocoa, but to really appreciate the taste, we need to walk there slowly.
The best method is slowly increasing cocoa content in chocolate. You can easily buy chocolate containing already 60% cocoa. When you get used to the taste, try to 70% and so on. Dark chocolate, rich as 95% cocoa is… amazing flavor.
Chocolate contains carbohydrates (with a small amount of sugar), magnesium, iron, potassium, which adds energy and prevent fatigue. Add to that the brain stimulant compounds as pyrazine and we think clearer, faster.
Cocoa beans contain flavonoids, which help regulate the “bad” cholesterol. At the same time they’re supporting the work of the blood and reduce the risk of heart attack or venous thrombosis.
You could write for hours and only superficially graze over the subject. It really all comes down to a simple conclusion: strawberries and dark chocolate is the perfect couple on Valentine’s Day. A preparation is simple, fast and does not require any supernatural culinary abilities.
Enjoy 🙂
